Fire alarm systems are a special type of component; the general guidelines for modeling components apply.
Fire alarm systems are installed in buildings to detect smoke or fire in order to protect people from fire. The fire alarm system is designed in accordance with TRVB S 123, DIN 14675, and VDE 0833-1/-2, depending on the type of building and regulatory requirements.
The "Fire Detectors" category includes, for example, the following components:

No fire alarms will be installed during this phase of the project.

During this phase, the exact locations of all components of the fire alarm system are defined on the floor plans. The fire detectors are plotted in three dimensions at their exact locations.
