    Can I try out BIMpedia before I sign up for an account?

    Yes! Simply browse our public section featuring selected articles, or sign up for our free account. If you're also interested in our Pro account, you'll have access to a 10-day free trial after signing up.


    Can I return my account if BIMpedia doesn't meet my expectations?

    No, unfortunately, refunds are not available. If you're not sure whether BIMpedia meets your expectations, please take advantage of the free trial.


    Can multiple users share an account?

    No. Accounts can only be used by one person at a time. If two login attempts are made simultaneously, the account that logged in first will be automatically logged out.


    How many accounts do I need?

    We recommend creating one account for each active authoring tool license in your company. So, for example, if you have 5 Revit licenses, you should also purchase 5 BIMpedia accounts.


    Account Term and Renewal

    The Free Account has no expiration date. Our Pro Account is valid for a minimum of 3 months up to one year, starting on the calendar day the order is placed. Each account can be renewed for individual months or an additional year up to 2 weeks before expiration.


    How do I cancel my account?

    You may cancel your account at any time without providing a reason. However, no refund will be issued for the current billing period for Pro accounts (see also our Terms and Conditions). To cancel your account, please send us written notice (by mail or email) to our contact address.

    Can I report errors and suggest improvements?

    Of course! You can always send us suggestions for improvement, error reports, and comments. Our editorial team works every day to improve our services! Please use our feedback button or send us an email.


    Am I allowed to freely copy and share content (e.g., Wikipedia)?

    No. All content, graphics, videos, images, and text are protected by copyright and may not be copied or reproduced in any form, whether in their original state or in any modified form. If you would like to quote specific content or use graphics from BIMpedia, please contact us!


    Personal favorites

    Can I save my personal favorites in BIMpedia or keep articles that I need to refer to frequently on a "watchlist"? No, BIMpedia does not offer this feature. We recommend using your browser's bookmarking features.


    Can I try out the template and family catalog?

    A simplified version of our template featuring a few families is available from us. Please contact us directly.

    How can I become a BIMpedia author?

    BIMpedia thrives on the experience and dedication of its users and authors. Not only do all other users benefit, but you do too: For every article you submit that passes quality assurance and is made available to all users, you receive a 1% discount on your total account volume (up to 50% per year)!

    What are the system requirements for my computer or mobile device?

    In general, BIMpedia works on any computer or mobile device with internet access. However, we recommend using a modern web browser. In corporate networks, it may be necessary to allow access to the bimpedia.eu domain for all users. Please contact your system administrator for assistance.

    Are all the training courses offered included in my Pro account?

    No, the Pro Account only gives you access to all training materials. To participate in our training sessions, please contact us directly for more information.
