This process standard describes the interface between Revit (modeling), MagiCAD (families), and Solar Computer (calculation).
The workflow can be roughly divided into:
- Setting up necessary piping network information
- Configuring and verifying user-defined piping system component families for solar export
- Defining system names
- Executing the piping network export via GBIS
- Import and calculation in the Solar-Computer programs
- Importing the Solar Computer results into the Revit drawing and resizing
