Solibri (Office), an IFC validation software, offers a "Classification" feature that allows users to perform user-friendly recategorization based on existing model information—or even in its absence. These classifications become part of the respective project file but can be saved separately and reused in other projects.
These different classifications can then be used as a basis for visual overlays, presentations, spot checks, as well as for collision checks and analyses.
