The course addresses the challenges that arise when building owners and clients define individual specifications, and why a balanced level of specification is crucial for contractors.

    The course also covers how scopes of work are used to define content and responsibilities within the BIM methodology, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of standardizing these scopes. It also introduces proven verification methods to ensure compliance with regulations and information requirements during design, construction, and operation. Finally, a few practical recommendations are provided to help design regulations efficiently and make them usable.
